Module

A subdivision of the SAP software which accomplishes a particular business function. Implementation of multiple modules accomplishes an integrated solution. There are several modules of SAP. Some of the most commonly used modules are: Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Asset Management (AM), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Human Resources (HR).
